Makes Me Think of Egypt is an exhibition of the 18 finalists (including me!) of the photography competition organised by the British Egyptian Society UK, jointly with the British Museum and Amateur Photographer magazine.

The 18 finalists submitted images that conjured up the spirit of Egypt. I entered my image from the shallow underwater cave system at St Johns in the Red Sea.

Previously on display at the British Museum, this exhibition is now hung among the antiquities of the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, University College London, Malet Place, London WC1E 6BT.

The exhibition will run from 29 June to 4 September 2010. Museum opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday 1-5pm.
